Built by a guy who was losing his hair.

HairBoostLab exists because the existing options all sucked. No real alternative between daily pills, messy topicals, and €12.000 surgery. So we built one.

The problem we kept running into

Every man facing hair loss gets pushed into the same three doors:

Door 1 — Finasteride. A daily pill that messes with your hormones. Effective for some. But between 2–4% of men experience sexual side effects, and stories of persistent post-finasteride syndrome scared plenty of us off.

Door 2 — Minoxidil. Twice a day, greasy, smelly, and the moment you stop using it, every hair you grew falls out again. You're locked into paying €30 a month, forever.

Door 3 — Transplants. €5.000 to €15.000. Weeks of recovery. Permanent scarring. And often — when you actually go see the doctor — they tell you the hair isn't dead yet. You're not a candidate yet.

The question we asked ourselves: what about the men in the middle? The ones noticing thinning in photos. The ones staring at the shower drain. The ones not ready for pills, not ready for surgery, but definitely not willing to do nothing.

The fourth door

Turns out there's been a fourth option hiding in plain sight: red light therapy — or technically, Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT).

Dermatology clinics have been using it for over a decade. The FDA cleared it for male pattern hair loss back in 2007. Meta-analyses show up to 35% hair count increases. And it has something none of the other three options do: zero systemic side effects.
